Raising money through collaborative lunches will allow the Scholarship to assist student placements with items such as knives and uniforms, transport, and accommodation for a short period if required.

We see Hospitality Action as pivotal in supporting those employers who seek out strategies and structure when it comes to managing mental health and other stress related challenges in the workplace.

We know that Colleges/Universities appreciate support and it is our aim to make the college lunches cost neutral thanks to the support of those attending and also thanks to the generosity of suppliers and sponsors. 

We believe that students leaving college have every right to work in a respectful considerate environment that positively influences career development through the management of natural workplace pressure rather than unmanaged chaotic stress.

We look to profile model employers and industry leading chefs who value the importance of a balanced and progressive workforce. These employers and chefs shine a light on the future of hospitality and promote the values around why students should progress with confidence.

Placing students with the right employer across a seamless bridge from education to industry is vital in terms of continuity and the students career trajectory into their profession. Where students begin their career is vitally important when encouraging potential to flourish.
